AIWriteBook Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

By joining the AIWriteBook Affiliate Program ("Program"), you ("Affiliate") agree to the following terms and conditions. AIWriteBook ("Company") reserves the right to modify these terms with 30 days written notice.

1. Commission Structure

These commission rates are introductory launch terms, effective for the initial pilot period. High-performing affiliates may be offered enhanced terms at Company's discretion.

• Commission rate: 25% recurring on referred paid subscriptions
• Commission duration: Up to 6 months (maximum 12 payments) per referred customer
• Cookie duration: 60 days
• Attribution model: Last-touch attribution
• Minimum payout threshold: $50
• Payout hold period: 60 days from customer payment date

2. Commission Eligibility & Clawbacks

Commissions remain pending for 60 days following each customer payment. Commissions are forfeited if the referred customer:

• Requests a refund within 60 days of purchase
• Initiates a chargeback at any time
• Cancels their subscription within the pending period
• Is not in good standing at the time of payout

Company reserves the right to claw back previously paid commissions for chargebacks occurring within 120 days of the original transaction.

Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Affiliates may not use their own affiliate link or code to receive commissions on their own purchases.

3. Promotional Guidelines

3.1 Required Disclosures (FTC Compliance)

Affiliate shall clearly and conspicuously disclose the affiliate relationship in all promotional content. Acceptable disclosures include phrases such as:

• "This post contains affiliate links from which I may earn a commission"
• "Ad" or "Sponsored"
• "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link"

Disclosures must appear near the relevant link or endorsement, not hidden in footers, about pages, or separate disclosure pages. Failure to comply with FTC guidelines constitutes grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

3.2 Prohibited Promotional Methods

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Brand bidding: Bidding on "AIWriteBook" or any variations, misspellings, or derivatives in any PPC or paid search advertising. Affiliate must add all Company brand terms as negative keywords in all paid campaigns.
• Unsolicited email or spam: Sending promotional emails to purchased lists or recipients who have not opted in to receive communications from the Affiliate.
• Fake reviews or testimonials: Creating or publishing dishonest, fabricated, or misleading reviews or testimonials.
• Unauthorized coupon codes: Creating, distributing, or promoting discount codes not officially issued by the Company to the Affiliate.
• Cookie stuffing or adware: Using any technology to place tracking cookies without genuine user interaction or intent.
• Domain squatting: Registering domain names containing "AIWriteBook" or confusingly similar variations.
• Brand impersonation: Creating social media accounts, websites, or other online presences that impersonate or could be confused with official AIWriteBook channels.
• Coupon/deal site promotion: Posting affiliate links or codes on coupon aggregator websites, deal forums, or browser extension platforms without prior written approval.

4. Content & Brand Usage

Affiliate may use Company-provided logos, banners, screenshots, and marketing materials for promotional purposes. Affiliate shall not alter Company trademarks or create misleading impressions of official endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship.

Affiliate is responsible for the accuracy of all claims made about AIWriteBook. Promotional content must not contain false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about the product's capabilities.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time. Upon termination:

• Pending commissions that have cleared the 60-day hold period will be paid if they meet the minimum payout threshold.
• Unpaid commissions below the minimum threshold are forfeited.
• Affiliate must remove all AIWriteBook affiliate links and promotional materials within 14 days.

Company may terminate an Affiliate immediately and without notice for violation of these terms, including but not limited to FTC non-compliance, brand bidding, fraud, or any prohibited promotional method. Immediate termination results in forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.

6. Modifications

Company reserves the right to modify commission structures, cookie durations, and other program terms with 30 days written notice to active affiliates. Continued participation in the Program after the notice period constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Company is not liable for tracking failures, technical issues, or losses arising from participation in the Program. Commission calculations are based on Company's tracking data, which is considered final.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
